If you’ve lived in Carlow at any point over the past 47 years, Carlow Arts Festival has probably been part of your story, whether as an audience member, volunteer, artist, project participant, or staff member. The festival celebrates bold, joyful and thought-provoking work from artists in Ireland and beyond. Our volunteers are at the heart of it all, helping to create unforgettable experiences for everyone who attends. This year, we’d love you to be part of the team that makes Carlow Arts Festival happen.

We’re looking for volunteers of all ages to join us. It’s a brilliant way to meet new people, experience the festival behind the scenes and be part of something special in your community. There’s a role for everyone. Some people love being right in the thick of the excitement, while others prefer something a little more relaxed and behind the scenes. We’ll help find the role that suits you.

You can come along on your own and meet new people, or sign up with a friend and volunteer together.

No previous experience needed, just a positive attitude and some availability during the festival.

If you’ve got a little time to spare, we’d love to have you involved.
