THE CAF SESSIONS: OPEN CALL

Carlow Arts Festival 2026 runs from Thursday 28th of May to Monday 1st of June and The CAF Sessions is our new dedicated live music strand - showcasing bold, exciting work as part of the festival.

We’re inviting applications through our Open Call to perform on Saturday May 30, Sunday May 31st, or Monday June 1st on the O'Hara's Stage at Carlow College, St Patricks.

From ensembles to solo performers, experimental projects to traditional forms, we welcome live acts working across genres and styles.

Each selected act will perform between 45- 60 minutes set and will be paid:

Solo Artist: €250
Duo: €450
Band (3+ performers): €650


Acts should be performance-ready. The O'Hara's Stage is a free, un-ticketed, outdoor music venue and acts should be suited to a festival context.

Representation matters to us. We actively encourage applications from artists who reflect the diversity of our county and community.
