MOS

Ioanna Paraskevopoulou (Greece)

Book now

A playfully captivating dance performance.

In MOS, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou and Georgios Kotsifakis create a physical soundtrack before our very eyes, using everyday tools to score a series of cinematic scenes, from zombie horrors to nature documentaries.

With their bodies engaging in combat with objects such as a pair of bellows, two halves of a coconut, and a plunger, they conjure up sounds in a playful and hallucinogenic experience.

The duo appropriates the Foley film sound technique, which is used to create sounds in a studio that cannot be captured on the live film set and harness it as a choreographic tool.

Don’t miss this unique and mesmerizing performance that explores the relationship between movement, sound, and image.
