FĒNIX, Just Alice & Kendal Moody

After the launch of ARTWORKS 2024 and Opening Night Performance of Pelat, join the artists and festival team as Carlow Arts Festival continues in style at the Opening Night Gathering.

This year, the floor belongs to FĒNIX, the brainchild of Carlow multi-instrumentalist Darragh O’Connor. With influences ranging from the iconic sounds of the 80's to contemporary Synthwave, FĒNIX crafts a unique blend of big beats and sexy synths that define his signature melody-driven alt-pop.

For this very special and tailor-made event presented by Youngblood Music at the O’Hara’s Big Top, supporting acts are Just Alice and Kendal Moody.

Laois folk-pop artist and storyteller Just Alice writes songs crafted from the threads of her personal experiences and keen observations of the world. Her music draws inspiration from the beauty of everyday moments and the depth of human connections and experiences.

Kendal Moody, a rising folk and country artist hailing from Glen of Imaal, Co. Wicklow, has harboured a profound passion for music since childhood. Her dedication and talent have earned her several prestigious national song awards and, most notably, she has achieved chart-topping success on the Irish iTunes Country charts.
