Singing & Cycling
Michelle Browne & Eszter Némethi
Workshop
Join us for a Cycles sing-along with Carlow Community Choir Music Team, Imelda Andrews accompanied by Irina O’Hara. Learn a new bespoke song written by Ye Vagabonds for cycling across the hills of Carlow. If you have a bike, bring it along as we prepare for Cycles, a participatory cycling event across the Carlow landscape in July. Keep an eye out for more Cycles surprises throughout the weekend.
Cycles is an arts participation project that has been developed with communities from Hacketstown, Rathvilly, Graiguecullen and Tullow, exploring language, history, landscape and cycling led by artists Michelle Browne and Eszter Némethi as part of ASSEMBLY. Looking back 100 years to 1923 and imagining our future in 100 years, the project explores what our relationship is and will be to the landscape through a series of workshops, talks and discussions.
Join us on the 14th of July for this special collective cycling experience!
