Cello Solus

Each year, Carlow Arts Festival presents a special performance in the beautiful surrounds of The Orchard in Carlow College. This year we are thrilled to host a special duet for one audience member at a time.

Renowned cellists Maria Kolby Sonstad and Caitríona Finnegan invite you to join them for a unique performance.

As an audience of one, you will be enveloped in classical and contemporary music as the two cellists perform just for you – live and unamplified. Their performance will intertwine with the sounds of nature and the special surroundings of The Orchard, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of life for ten glorious minutes of peace and solitude.

Created especially for Carlow Arts Festival, each performance of Cello Solus lasts ten minutes. Due to the small capacity, all the performances are likely to sell out quickly. Be sure to book so as not to miss this intimate musical experience.
